Here we are again at Rouge Tomate - one of my favorite restaurants in all of New York. I dined here during Summer 2010 Restaurant Week for lunch. What I enjoy about Rouge Tomate is the restaurant’s seasonal menus, wine/cocktail/juice list, its decor and the spaciousness. The food is served similar to tapas-style but the portions/plates for appetizers and entrees are smaller. I suggest ordering two entrees per person or two appetizers/one entree per person. If you would love to experience new Modern-American cuisine, I highly recommend you to Rouge Tomate. It received it’s first Michelin star last year (three stars being exceptional by French rating standards)! You’ll come to love this place as much as I do…and that is every time I go. Look forward to more posts about Rouge Tomate in the future as there’s always something new on their menu, and because I love it here!
